Jacqui serves as the Chief Executive at Shoreditch Trust, where she has successfully transformed the organisation from a government-funded programme (New Deal for Communities) into an independent, anchor institution with a diverse income portfolio, enhancing its capacity to deliver a comprehensive health and wellbeing program.
With extensive experience across the public, education, charity, and cultural sectors, Jacqui specialises in communications and public affairs. She previously held the role of Director of Communications, Consultation, and Partnerships at Shoreditch Trust. Jacqui holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Further Education, and began her career as a cultural studies teacher. She is also a trained Facilitator on the British Council's International Facilitator Development programme and leads the Trust’s Active Citizens Community Champion programme. Her educational background has strongly influenced her commitment to integrating research, personal development, and training into Shoreditch Trust's work.
Jacqui considers it a privilege to lead a charitable organisation that collaborates with communities and stakeholders to develop a shared vision for neighborhoods, delivering exceptional services and ensuring equality of access and opportunity for all.
Jacqui is also an elected Member of the City of London, serving as Common Councillor for the Ward of Cripplegate. Jacqui sits on committees including Community and Children Services, Planning and Transportation and Port Health & Environmental Services, as well as Sub-Committees including Planning Applications, Professional Standards & Integrity (CoL Police), Resource, Risk & Estates (CoL Police), and Safeguarding. Jacqui is the Lead Member for Resident Engagement across the City of London and sits on the Destination City Advisory Board as resident representative.
