Jacqui is Chief Executive at Shoreditch Trust. In this role she led the transformation of Shoreditch Trust from a fully funded government programme (New Deal for Communities) to an independent, anchor organisation with a mixed portfolio of income, building capacity to deliver an ambitious health and wellbeing programme.
Jacqui has a broad experience across public, education, charity and cultural sectors, specialising in communications and public affairs. She previously held the position of Shoreditch Trust Director of Communications, Consultation and Partnerships. She is a Fellow of the RSA, has a Post Graduate Certificate in Further Education and began her career in education working as a teacher in cultural studies. Jacqui is a trained Facilitator on the British Council's International Facilitator Development programme and leads the Trust’s Active Citizens programme. Her background in education and has served as a strong basis for a belief in embedding research and personal development and training in the work of Shoreditch Trust.
Jacqui believes that it is a privilege to lead a charitable organisation that works collaboratively with communities and stakeholders in developing a shared vision for neighbourhoods which delivers outstanding services, and equality of access and opportunity for all.
Jacqui's civic works extends into the City of London where she is an elected Member serving as Common Councillor for the Ward of Cripplegate and is the Lead Member for Resident Engagement across the City.
