Ken is a group facilitator for the Trust's 'Young Chefs Programme' and senior chef at Shoreditch Trust's Community Table hub, Waterhouse.
Ken can be found Waterhouse and across community kitchens in City and Hackney working with young people and helping to develop their skills in a professional kitchen setting. He also assists them with training relevant to employability. Varying-sized groups of children will also attend sessions lead by Ken introducing them to baking techniques from the Trust's always evolving recipe archive. The goal is to inspire them make food they enjoy eating and collaborate with each other. Ken has many years experience working in restaurants around London, football stadiums and also nurseries. He actually began his chef journey as a trainee with Shoreditch Trust at Waterhouse on the Young Chefs programme.
