Tigist joined Shoreditch Trust in 2022 as a Bump Buddies mum and quickly became an integral part of the community. After completing barista training through the Bump Buddies programme, she took on the role of Front of House at the Waterhouse Restaurant. Tigist now supports the wider team as a Core Coordinator, bringing warmth, creativity, and dedication to everything she does.

Beyond her work at Shoreditch Trust, Tigist is a celebrated poet in Ethiopia and the founder of Kinerbet, a London based arts and entertainment company that champions cultural expression and storytelling.
