Dr Lucy Carter MBBS, BSc (Sociology) MRCGP describes herself as a mother, runner, and GP. She has worked as a GP partner in Hackney since 2005.
Lucy is a clinical senior lecturer on the Msc Physicians Associates programme at Queen Mary University, teaching medical and physician associate students. She holds a PGcert in higher education and takes an interest in substance misuse and mental health. She is also part of a steering committee with Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, looking at racial bias in medicine.
Lucy is Institute of Health Sciences Education academic rep, co-chair of the Antiracism steering committee, and Senate rep FMD at Queen Mary University.
